Today we are proud to release version 3.5 of the Agama DTV Monitoring Solution. Amongst the news in this release we introduce new alarm handling features across the product line. Several intelligent features are added to provide a clearer and more refined view of a problem in the Enterprise Server’s alarm user interface as well as in a northbound NMS. They include location root cause analysis and hold-off capabilities in the Enterprise Server, and the introduction of alarm types for individual ETR 101 290 parameters in Analyzers connected to an Enterprise Server. In the Embedded Monitoring Solution for IPTV, enhancements can be found both in presentation of additional probe metadata, as well as in performance and capacity of the solution in total.

With the release of version 3.4, Agama introduces new products to the product suite. The Dutch incumbent telecom operator, KPN, has invested in an Agama solution for their IPTV service, Interactive TV.

Agama proudly presents the new major release of the Agama Digital-TV Monitoring Solution. The v3.0 release reaches new heights both in function and in scope, which broadens the solution and meets the demans of the multi distribution operator. This new version has also had a comprehensive user interface makeover that has contributed to highly enhanced usability and adaptability.

Functional additions in v3.0 include QAM/QPSK support, scheduled monitoring, support for all major IPTV echosystems, stream forwarding, quick overview dashboards, enhanced network KPIs and network correlation views.

Version 2.5 of the Agama IPTV Monitoring solution is now available.

Agama is proud to announce version 2.4 of the Agama IPTV solution, where Agama introduces true end-to-end monitoring capabilities through the release of our new Embedded Monitoring product.

The Embedded Monitoring Solution is based on a light weight software probe that is integrated in the set-top box and reports monitoring data back to the Enterprise Server through a scalable aggregation architecture. This unique design adds a cost-efficent solution for last-mile monitoring in even the largest sized IPTV networks.

New in the Enterprise Server is the Geographical View which allows real time end-to-end monitoring status to be overlayed on images. The image can be a geographical map or a network logical image and is totally user defined.

The 2.4 version of the Enterprise Server also includes:

- A Compare Locations report which allows delivered quality to be compared in several locations using a selected location as reference, for instance the ingress point for the IPTV streams in a network.
- Alarms have been improved and extended with user perceived qualiy and technical quality alarms.
- A communication self test which makes deployment easier.
- Improved usability through quick selection of time intervals.

In the Analyzer, the 2.4 version adds a Real Time Network Measurement view which allows parameters such as jitter and bitrate to be shown in real time graphs. This allows for more advanced troubleshooting of network problems, as well as detecting streamer problems. Also included is the new Network Overview which shows IP related parameters for all channels such as sender IP, bitrate, jitter and packet loss.

Acreo chooses RIA for IP-TV monitoring in the Acreo National Test-bed Initiative. Acreo AB, a Swedish Research institute in microelectronics and fibre optics, manages the National Test-bed where new technologies are tested.
